The aim of the course is to introduce students to and orientate themselves in the field of hybrid and electric vehicles. This will be achieved through a series of modules which will be taught in the Green Energy Lab and will include the following: introduction to hybrid and electric vehicles – hybrid safety – maintenance and operation of hybrid vehicles; oil changes/cooling system service, H.V. disconnection service procedures, hybrid air conditioning and electric power steering. This course will expand students’ skill level and general knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles in their workplace.
