This publication provides a general overview of various standards-related topics. This publication does not alter or determine the compliance responsibilities set forth in OSHA standards and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. In addition, because interpretations and enforcement policies may change over time, the reader should consult current administrative interpretations and decisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the courts for further guidance on OSHA’s compliance requirements.

OSHA.com recommends the training program courses as occupational safety and health orientation for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1910. Workers must receive additional training, if required by OSHA standards, on specific work hazards. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be mailed a 10-hour OSHA General Industry DOL Wallet Card within 1-2 weeks.
